The guests from each section of the conference had the opportunity to analyze extensively cybersecurity issues, to highlight new techniques as a measure to mitigate the risk, but also to highlight the needs of the market today. More specifically, Professor Christos Xenakis, after talking about the dangers and new hacking methods that threaten users and organizations on a daily basis, announced the conduction of the qualifying round on May 22-23, from which it will arise the National Cyber Security Team. Prerequisite for participation in the qualifiers is the age range between 14-26 years old (the extension of the age criteria applies only to this year’s participation in the ECSC 2021 competition, due to the changes brought by the COVID-19 pandemic) and Hellenic citizenship. To participate in the qualifiers, those interested must register on the ECSC CTF platform through https://ctf.hackthebox.eu and fill in the entry form with their details. Moreover, Professor Christos Xenakis focused on the needs that constantly arise in the market, but also on the need to find new talent that will staff companies and organizations in the field of Cyber Security. This need arises due to the new, emerging intrusion techniques used by hackers, in order to invade and steal users’ personal information, but also to jeopardize the operation of companies and organizations.

InfoCom Security is distinguished for the universal recognition it receives from the entire market of Digital Security solutions and services. Many and the largest Greek companies in the field as well as leading foreign brands that support the event have been participating in it for many years.
