The European Union Cyber \u200b\u200bSecurity Agency, ENISA<\/strong>, is an organization dedicated to achieving a high level of cyber security across Europe. Founded in 2004 and strengthened by EU cyber security law. The European Union Cyber \u200b\u200bSecurity Agency contributes to EU cyber policy, enhances the credibility of ICT products, services and processes with cybersecurity certification schemes, cooperates with EU Member States and bodies and helps Europe prepare for challenges in tomorrow’s cyberspace.<\/p>

Through knowledge sharing, capacity building and awareness-raising, the Agency works with key stakeholders to build confidence in the connected economy, strengthen the resilience of the Union’s infrastructure and, ultimately, maintain the digital security of society and citizens of Europe.<\/p>

In a world that has become hyperlinked, cybercriminals are a major threat to the internal security of the European Union and the safety of its citizens on the Internet. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for more security in the digital world. People have increased their Internet presence to maintain their personal and professional relationships, while cyber criminals have taken advantage of this situation, targeting in particular e-commerce and e-payment companies, as well as the healthcare system.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
