European Cyber Security Challenge<\/strong><\/a>, is the official EU cybersecurity contest of the European Cyber Security Agency (ENISA)<\/strong><\/a> aimed at finding, attracting and promoting new talents in the field of digital information systems and networks.<\/p>\n

The annual event brings together top cyber talent from across Europe to network and collaborate, meet with leading companies and organizations and compete against each other, and win the ECSC<\/strong> competition. Contestants work to solve cybersecurity-related challenges in multiple categories, such as Binary exploitation, Cryptography, Web exploitation, Digital Forensics, Reverse Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cloud, etc<\/i>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The competition is an initiative of the European Cyber Security Agency (ENISA) <\/strong><\/a>and is actively supported by the Hellenic Ministry of Digital Governance<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Department of Digital Systems<\/strong><\/a> of the University of Piraeus<\/a><\/strong>, led by Professor Christos Xenakis, is responsible for the Greek participation.<\/p>\n

Great helpers in this effort are the Ministry of Digital Governance<\/strong>, but also the team’s sponsors<\/strong>, who actively support the Hellenic Cyber Security Team<\/strong>, ensuring the right conditions for its success.<\/p>\n
